Petronas....

Ethnic Cleansing At Petronas

http://syedsoutsidethebox.blogspot.com/2013/12/ethnic-cleansing-at-petronas.html

This is from The Star here : Dr Mahathir steps down from Petronas post

  1. Dr Mahathir announced that he has stepped down as Petronas adviser.
  2. On whether he will also resign as Proton Holdings Bhd adviser, Dr Mahathir said he was not thinking about it yet.

The "official reason" proferred was that the doctor has asked Dr Mahathir to take it easy. Well point No. 2 above clearly refutes that argument. Dr Mahathir still remains as advisor to Proton. Rupnya Tun Dr Mahathir sakit masa di Petronas saja. Masa di Proton Tun sihat. Alhamdulillah.

Well here is what I heard. Dr Mahathir is getting tired of this fellow : Omar Mustapha Ong who is now "de facto" boss of Petronas. All our money, the money that belongs to our future generations is now under the watch of this guy.

He is the PM's closest "advisor". The PM appointed him a Board member of Petronas. Talk is Dr Mahathir's letters and queries to Petronas went unanswered. Letters he wrote went unanswered for three months. So Dr Mahathir got fed up and decided to throw in his shoes.

Dont forget that under Dr Mahathir's tenure he built up Petronas from just a local player to a real international oil and gas player. Petronas is now a world class oil and gas company. Manned largely by Malaysians. All Najib has to do now is make sure he does not screw up what Dr Mahathir has built up. It looks like that is not going to happen. Things are getting pretty screwed up.
Soon after Omar Ong was appointed Director of Petronas, this man left the company in 2010.

Tan Sri Hassan Merican is a no nonsense homeboy oil man. As a young banker I had the pleasure of doing one project loan for Petronas (MLNG 2) when Hassan was CEO of Petronas and attending a couple of meetings chaired by Hassan Merican. Top notch. Hassan Merican left after Omar Ong was appointed Director.

Now Hassan Merican has been snapped up by the Singaporeans. He was appointed  a Director of Temasek Holdings.  He was also appointed Director of Singapore GLCs like SembCorp Industries Ltd, SembCorp Marine Ltd and Singapore Power.  Latest news is Hassan has set up his own oil company in Singapore.

Maybe the dunggus from Talent Corpse can now offer Hassan Merican 'two APs and a 15% tax bracket' to lure him back to Malaysia from Singapore.

After Hassan this other guy has also left Petronas :

This is Dato Medan Abdullah - a true blue, 100% bumiputra son of the soil Dayak from Sarawak.  A career oil man who made almost his entire career in Petronas. He left Petronas in September 2013. Also tak boleh tahan the presence of the PM's advisor Omar Mustapha Ong.  He has served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Petronas' MLNG. Talk was that Medan Abdullah was being groomed to become the CEO of Petronas.

But after Omar Ong came into Petronas, that is not going to happen. For now.

Medan has also been snapped up by the Singaporeans. He is now Managing Director (Asia?) of Gazprom's Singapore office. Perhaps Talent Corpse will offer him two free APs as well and lure him back to Malaysia.

These are all true blue sons of the soil, highly competent Malaysians who have been chased out of Petronas by the presence of elements that they obviously they did not like.

Here is some news about the PM's advisor Omar Ong. In Petronas he also holds a very, very powerful position in the Remuneration Committee. This is the committee that decides who gets raises, what salaries they earn, promotions etc.

To close this here is something for you to ponder.

In the 2012 Annual Report Petronas has reported an increase in revenues. What do you think was Petronas' revenue increase folks? 10%, 20%, 30%?

Here is what Petronas' Group CEO says :  "Group Revenue for the year stood at RM291 billion, up 1% from Calendar Year (CY) 2011 of RM288.5 Billion".

Petronas' revenue increased by just ONE PERCENT (1%) in 2012

And their profit has fallen by 17.3% from RM59.7 Billion in 2011 to RM49.4 Billion in 2012. This is as per Petronas Audited Accounts.

Folks, Petronas is going down.

p.s. Recall the little story about 1MDB "placing" out over USD1.0 Billion of our taxpayers money in the money laundering island called Cayman Islands? It is more than RM3.0 Billion. Well some folks believe that money has gone kaput. Will we ever see that money again?

I am worried about the balance of the RM38.0 Billion that was "borrowed" by 1MDB using a gomen guarantee. Where is all that money?  Folks, do you know that you are all sleeping. That is why these things can happen.
